PREPARATORY PRAYER:

            Let us prepare our hearts today by praying the prayer of David in Psalms 5:1- 4 NAS.

Dear Heavenly Father, I bring my petition before you by praying the words of David in his supplication to you:

            “Give ear to my words, O LORD,

            Consider my groaning.

            2 Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God,

            For to Thee do I pray.

            3 In the morning, O LORD, Thou wilt hear my voice;

            In the morning I will order my prayer to Thee and eagerly watch.

            4 For Thou art not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness;

            No evil dwells with Thee.”

Saturate me with your righteousness. Help me to keep my feet upon the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life. Establish me in the pure truth of your Word. Clothe me with your armor and prepare me to do battle against my enemies.  I pray in Jesus name.  Amen.

IMPRECATORY PRAYER:

            CURRENT ISSUE: to come against those in government with hidden agendas who are                                    trying to take control of the Internet.

The Internet is an unrestricted information river. It can stream very good & useful material and very obnoxious and evil activity, simultaneously. This easily accessed tool gives access to the common person and strikes fear into those who wish to control all media outlets. Their sinister activities and hidden agenda are being exposed.

There is now an escalating cry for governmental control and censorship. Those who are beating the drums for regulation seem to have only two goals: 1. to have censoring power over anything which they dislike; 2. they see a huge “cash cow” available through taxation, but these are not their only motives.

We acknowledge that there is much evil and dangerous use of the Internet. While their argument for control vibrates with moral platitudes in the pretext that they will close the sites which promote criminal, immoral, pornographic, and scam activities; obviously some have a hidden motive for obtaining control.

They recognize that this informational pipeline is increasingly useful to those who are presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is little doubt that this is a thorn in their side. The Internet provides an unrestricted ability for biblical preaching and teaching. It can provide exposure of those whose motives are devilish and anti-Christ, making it much more difficult for the Babylonian system to hide its evil agenda and operate in secrecy without opposition.

The gospel message and pure truth is the only power that is feared by these purveyors of deceit and self aggrandizing lies. While they speak of “cleaning up the internet” we are very aware that satan and his agents never destroy their own evil work.  Let us Pound and Pulverize those whose malicious agenda is determined to silence the messengers of the true Gospel with Pulverizing Prayer Power by including  Psalms 5: 5-12 (NAS) in our prayer.

PRAYER:

Almighty God we come against those who have determined to muzzle the preachers and teachers of Your Word. Cause their efforts to silence your Gospel and further enslave Your people to backfire. Destroy them through their own devices.  Consume them in their vanity.  Save us from their evil web, as we pray the words of Your servant, David against them.

“5 The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes; Thou dost hate all who do iniquity.

6 Thou dost destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.

7 But as for me, by Thine abundant lovingkindness I will enter Thy house, At Thy holy temple I will bow in reverence for Thee.

8 O LORD, lead me in Thy righteousness because of my foes; Make Thy way straight before me.

9 There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself; Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.

10 Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against Thee.

11 But let all who take refuge in Thee be glad, Let them ever sing for joy;

And mayest Thou shelter them, That those who love Thy name may exult in Thee.

12 For it is Thou who dost bless the righteous man, O LORD, Thou dost surround him with favor as with a shield.”  Psalms 5: 5-12 (NAS)

 We pray in the name of King Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
