8.  Examples of How it is Accomplished

Let's consider examples from two leading Jewish groups which clearly are guilty of lying to law enforcement agencies and of promulgating false propaganda against innocent Christians daring to believe the Identity truth.

The first group is the Jewish Anti-Defamation League of B'Nai B'Rith (ADL).  This organization has been called (and rightly so, in my opinion) a "hate group."  It is a hate group that allegedly hates "hate groups."  The ADL sends its propaganda to law-enforcement agencies, and has admitted to exercising tremendous influence and control of the Media in America.  For example, in J. J. Goldberg's book "Jewish Power (Inside the American Jewish Establishment)," ADL national director Abe Foxman is quoted as saying, "I know every time I meet with a world leader who comes to see me, he is not coming to see me because I'm Abe Foxman, the national director of the ADL.  I know he's coming because he has been told, or someone sold him on the concept, that the Jewish community is very strong and powerful.  You know it because when you finish the conversation, they want to know what you can do for them in the media..." [18]

The following description of Identity was taken from the Internet web site of the ADL:  "HATE ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB:  A BRIEF GUIDE TO CYBERSPACE BIGOTRY / 'CHRISTIAN' IDENTITY:  A diabolical mixture of racism, anti-Semitism, and religion, the Identity Church movement teaches that Anglo-Saxons are the Jews described in the Bible, that Jews are the descendants of Satan, and that Blacks and other minorities are inferior 'mud people.'"

Note how Identity is demonized by use of the phrase "diabolical mixture."  Note the false claim that a church that believes the Identity message necessarily teaches that:  (1) Anglo-Saxons are Jews, (2) Jews are the descendants of Satan, and (3) Blacks and other minorities are inferior "mud people."

If this is the new definition of Identity, then I can truthfully state (as can most Christians) that I am not Identity and that I do not pastor an Identity church--just as I can say I do not pastor a gay church.  Little do the populace and law-enforcement agencies realize that the ADL is lying to them, as Rabbi Lapin has warned them.

But someone may ask, "How do we know you aren't lying to us, Pastor Peters? and that you aren't simply denying what you really are?"  The answer is really quite simple.  In the past fifteen years, I have written several books and numerous pamphlets, and have preached well over a thousand sermons, all of which are on tape, and are offered to the public.  The sermons have been broadcast daily on radio, both domestic AM and shortwave, and on television.  No one, including the ADL, will find in the booklets, pamphlets, and broadcasts, one shred of evidence that I have taught such things.  Yet, the ADL, using its distorted definition of Identity, has labeled my church an Identity church and myself, an Identity minister.

The second group in this criminal propaganda war against Christianity is the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), led by Morris Dees.  Dees allegedly is a cryptic Jew.  (See our report entitled "Framing Deceit."  Single copies are available without charge; or request 20 copies for $6.  Write to LaPorte Church of Christ, Post Office Box 766, LaPorte, Colorado 80535.)

The method by which the SPLC reportedly raises substantial tax-exempt contributions is to send to the wealthy eastern Jewish establishment reports designed to incite fear.  These reports allege that America abounds with violent, wicked, Jew haters.  In turn, the SPLC presents itself as an honest agency which acts as a watch dog, monitoring and reporting on "hate groups," most of which they claim are Identity.  The media then quotes the reports of the SPLC, and soon a wicked and vile icon begins to form in the minds of the populace.  Creation of the icon, in turn, l/pleases the revenue obtained from the innocent and unsuspecting wealthy eastern Jewish contributors, who fear that they will become victims of a "holocaust," such as the "holocaust" the Nazis are alleged to have perpetrated against Jews of a previous generation.

Jewish Rabbi Daniel Lapin confirms that such organizations are engaged in scamming the Jewish people.  In his book "America's Real War," he states, "Jewish organizations, by continuously basing their fund-raising efforts on the threat of anti-Semitism, in fact train Jews to expect anti-Semitism.  In their book 'Jews and the New American Scene,' Earl Raab and Seymour Martin Lipset rightly contend, 'Despite scary direct mailings from the Simon Weisenthal Center, anti-Semitism will recede ever further.  Such mass mailings from Jewish organizations not only encourage insecurity and paranoia in the Jewish community, but they also may even cause an increase in anti-Semitism.  These childishly fearsome direct mail pieces promising to defend the recipient from scary anti-Semites in exchange for a contribution may be mailed to Jews but they are seen and detested by many non-Jews.'" [19]

The reported job of such organizations as the ADL, the SPLC, or the Simon Weisenthal Center is to create illusions and myths.  The Bible warns us not to pay attention to Jewish myths, Titus 1:14.  J. J. Goldberg, in his book "Jewish Power," speaks of Jewish leaders creating illusions to promote myths:  "'A lot of what we're doing today' said the head of one major Jewish agency, 'is the invention of [the late German-born Zionist leader] Naham Goldmann.  He was the master illusionist.  All the organizations he created--the World Jewish Congress, the Conference of Presidents--were designed to reinforce the myth.'" [20]  Law-enforcement agencies anive reporters receiving reports from such organizations need to be aware of this fact.

Rabbi Lapin illustrates how this creation of illusion and myths was accomplished in 1996 with regard to the burning of black churches.  In his book, he says, "Let's look at a parallel case in the African-American community.  In 1996 Americans were told of an epidemic of church burnings.  Many organizations announced a resurgence in racism and the National Council of Churches and the Jewish Anti-Defamation League ran ads decrying 'the fires of hate.'  A conspiracy of white supremacists was suggested.  In June 1997, the National Church Arson Task Force finally confirmed what some had suspected all along.  There was no epidemic, no conspiracy.  A number of churches burn down every year, and the number in 1996 was no greater than normal.  Many of the burned buildings were abandoned buildings that had formerly housed churches.  Often, when the arsonists were found, they turned out to be mentally disturbed individuals who didn't have a clue what the edifices had been or what a white supremacist was.  Blacks themselves were implicated for these arsons in disproportionate numbers.  In all, two of the churches in the data examined seemed to have been burned from racial motivation." [21]  Remember the same technique is being employed to create the illusion and myth of racism and white supremacy.

Part of the money scammed from innocent, unsuspecting wealthy Jews is used by the SPLC to mail what it calls "Intelligence Reports" to unsuspecting law enforcement agencies.  For example, the small local church I have pastored for over twenty years--the LaPorte Church of Christ in LaPorte, Colorado--is listed in the Winter, 1999 issue 93 Intelligence Report of the SPLC as an active hate group and as an Identity organization.

The following quotation, taken from the Internet web site of the SPLC, shows how our enemies use existing icons--in this case, the icons of the KKK, the Nazis, and the Skinheads--to describe the new Identity icon they are creating in the minds of the people.  "Racist Identity Sect Fuels Nationwide Movement.  For nearly 50 years, the virulent racist theology of Identity has percolated through the ranks of Klansmen, neo-Nazis, the Posse Comitatus and racist Skinheads.  Now it reaches beyond traditional white supremacists to an expanding network of anti-government extremists.  Today, the fanatical anti-Semitic sect fuels the so-called Patriot Movement with paranoid theories of government conspiracies and Biblical justifications for violence.  Identity members subscribe to the so-called 'Israel Message.'  They believe that white people are the true Israelites and that Jews and people of color are subhuman 'children of Satan,' who, along with the government, are to be destroyed in an apocalyptic battle.  Their hatred of the federal government is unmatched.  The single most dangerous element in the current militia movement is the expanding network of Identity followers.  For them, this is a holy war, one they intend to fight to the finish."

Again, my sermons, radio broadcasts, and writings of the past fifteen years have been and are available to the public, and I defy anyone to show where I teach that Jews and people of color are subhuman and are children of Satan, or that there is to be an apocalyptic battle.

Notice how, in the above article from the SPLC Internet web site, the propagandist uses inflammatory buzz words, such as "virulent" and "racist."  Remember the definition of propaganda:  "The deliberate spreading of ideas, information or rumors for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause or a person."
